"When I graduated I knew I wanted to get into management accounting - preferably with an international organisation that would support me in studying for a CIMA qualification. ASDA had everything I was looking for, with some extras on top. There was a buzz about the place - I could see I'd have the chance to get involved in lots of different projects.

"I work in the Business Planning department, part of the Finance Team. My customers include the Executives, Wal-Mart and all the other Finance Teams so I have a lot of responsibility. My rotations have taken me into many different parts of the business so I've built up a good understanding of how everything fits together. It has given me a broad range of experience across different parts of the business and helped me to build relationships with different departments.

"I'm also involved with the Charities Committee and I'm a first year graduate scheme buddy, so I'm on hand to help out new graduates in their first year."
