Job details:
Fixed Term: 8 months.

Experienced administrator with excellent organisational skills? In this role, you will be pivotal to the support of a multi-disciplinary team working to reach and improve the lives of people affected by cancer.

Role responsibilities
Working within a complex procedural environment, you'll ensure that all processes and records are dealt with to the required quality standard.

To that end, you'll deal competently and professionally with all the work needed to enable the smooth operation of our office - from the most mundane clerical tasks to the setting up of events, documentation of bids and the administration and processing of small grants.
Person specification
To succeed in the role will require a track record of admin/secretarial experience which includes evidence of complex, team diary management, the application of excellent MS Office and keyboard skills, the management of records systems and the ability to undertake detailed work with absolute accuracy.

Team-minded, you nevertheless have the ability to work independently to prioritise your various strands of work to meet fixed and emerging deadlines. Good communication skills, including a high standard of written English, are essential and experience gained in the NHS or voluntary sector is desirable in addition.
