The Capita Hartshead graduate programme will guide you down the right path to a successful future and lifelong career. Every year we enroll a select
few graduates on a fast-track career in pensions management – and you could become one of them. Don’t worry, you don’t need to be an expert in pensions to join us – we’ll make sure by the end of the programme you have a full understanding of the industry!

Capita Hartshead, part of the Capita Group Plc, a FTSE 100 company, is the largest specialist pensions administration provider in the UK and Ireland. Our aim is to give you as much exposure to all areas of the business as we can in your first year. You’ll work in a variety of departments, gaining experience and confidence along the way. The role is based in our Sheffield head office, but you could also have the opportunity to work in another site, such as London or Leeds. Throughout the programme, you will be given support and encouragement by your mentors.

Furthermore, being part of a group of graduates means you will have others to share the experience with, in and out of office hours.

Our quality of training and support to our employees in developing their careers is second to none.

We encourage participants to study towards membership of the Pensions Management Institute (PMI), the recognised professional body for the industry. In return for your time and effort in preparation for the exams, we will provide financial support towards the cost of registration, purchase of tuition materials and examination entry fees.

Graduate mentors will be on hand to provide you with extra guidance when studying towards the exams, and as an extra incentive you are given a bonus for every exam you pass.
Person specification To become a successful candidate for the graduate programme, you’ll need to have achieved, or be predicted to achieve, a 2:1 grade. Your degree doesn’t have to be business or finance related, but the following qualities are important to us and our clients:
-Motivation, commitment and drive
-A flexible approach to working arrangements.
-The ability to work under pressure, with minimal supervision, and maintain a professional working relationship with clients and colleagues at all times.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
-Good organisational skills.

Salary: £19000 plus excellent training and development
