Terrington Data Management who provide specialist software to many industries including chemicals, petrochemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical and manufacturing are offering a graduate to join as a Software Developer to gain hands-on experience in this area.

As a Software Developer you will initially take software through formal testing before its release and eventually develop your own software! Being part of a professional, customer faced environment, you will be given outstanding support.

Tasks you will get stuck into as a Software Developer:

• Develop a full understanding of what software packages do (through testing)
• Write new test scripts or specifications to test new or developed software
• Eventually designing and coding software packages

Skills needed as a Software Developer:

• Knowledge in the following programmes: Asp.net, vb.net, visual studio, HTML, CSS, Java Script
• Knowledge in Databases – SQL Server or Oracle

You must be a self-motivated individual with a hard-working ethic to produce excellent work within a small team of developers. The company has a strong supportive culture where you will be expected to help your colleagues in all aspects of the companies operations. This graduate role may eventually involve some software upgrading and installing at client sites so having a full driving licence with car would be beneficial.

This is a 6 month internship with every possibility of becoming permanent thereafter.
