Job details: We are seeking an experienced social work practitioner to join a busy Children's Out of Hours Team, providing a citywide service to children and their families within Sheffield. In addition to providing support to families in crisis, the team has responsibility for undertaking S47 Enquiries and devising safeguarding plans which address any immediate concerns identified.

You will have a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience, ideally within a statutory children and families setting and will have extensive experience of undertaking evidence based assessments. You will also have leadership skills and an ability to prioritise incoming work and juggle competing demands.

Although working without direct line management support, you will work alongside experienced and supportive colleagues who are committed to achieving the very best outcomes for children.

The successful candidate will be required to complete a Criminal Records Disclosure form in line with Section 115 of the Police Act 1997.
