| Job details: | We are offering this exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, competent and organised person to join Parks and Countryside Service. The main purpose of this role is to administer event applications, work with community organisations and assist the events section in the smooth safe running of outdoor events. The work also includes promoting the service, supervising and ensuring the smooth running of events, development of ICT systems, gathering and analyzing performance data. The candidate should be highly organized and efficient, ICT proficient, able to determine priorities and have experience or an understanding of successful marketing and development of events, possess excellent interpersonal skills and able to work co-operatively with others including professional bodies in a busy, challenging and evolving environment. This person should also be able to work well sometimes under extreme pressure. Sheffield City Council has recently completed a review of Pay and Terms and Conditions. The outcomes of the review will be implemented on 1 April 2010. This advert shows the grade and salary for this job up to 31 March 2010 and the grade and salary from 1 April 2010.
