Brake is an acclaimed national charity (head office in Huddersfield) campaigning in Government and communities to prevent the 8 deaths on roads every day and to get people out of cars. Job details: Brake needs telephone operatives to call educators about its Record Breaking Walking Bus 2010. This key road safety initiative enables schools to teach road safety in the classroom but also take part in a fun walk which doubles up as a Guinness record breaking attempt.

You will be responsible for enthusing educators to sign up to this event. You must be excellent on the phone and target driven. You'll be working as part of a team so strong communication skills, a willingness to learn and the ability to hit the ground running are all key!

A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential.

Work is available from February until June 2010. Commitment for all five months not essential and flexible hours available.
